i just realized i spend almost all my time at home either playing on the internet or reading a book. HOWEVER, i also tend to gravitate to fiction sites like fictionpress.com...which probably means i read almost all the time i'm home. I only get to play sims during weekends, but i think thats fine. :)
Kat told Janice about THE post... and i got a whack from her >< i didnt even get whacked this hard for the aussie photos post... *sob*
back to topic... this is an except from the book i'm reading now... the huge, thick one on my lap.
"In general, homework shuold be simple enough for a child to do by itself. Experts insist that homework shuld correspond to the level children are at school, in therms of complexity and duration. For example, the homework for a child in primary school should not exceed one hour, and for those in secondary school, it should not exceed two hours. This duration will allow children to obtain the benefits from homework but should not generate negative attitudes towards homework and as a consequence, towards school."
the one thing i hate about this book is that it keeps referring to offspring as "it".
to note: I'll never like chinese no matter how long it takes.
note2: if it wasnt tested maybe i'll like it a little.
