wednesday: Woke up about 4am to do preperations and finish packing, left for the MRT at about 5.30 cos i had to be at SP by 6.30. :< bus ride to Tanah Merah was kinda uneventful, had an anime discussino with Cheeryl and Wesley, haha. Pikachu was missing so we were the only group without a leader. :) we named ourselves 'bikachu' after our great fearless leader pikachu. :D The ferry was rocking really hard when we finally managed to get there. got kinda queasy after awhile, and prayed really hard that it'd start to move soon. was sooo glad when it started moving. Slept a little, but got woken up by Cheeryl when they wanted to up to the upper deck. Arrived at the resort! thought it looked awesome, but the function rooms were like two floors down and the food area one or two floors down from the function area, and the activity area was two floors down from the food area. which made it almost six storeys down to the activity area. we dumped our bags in the Hang Tuah room and went down to the activity area to do some weird stuff like burst balloons. :) Kitson, the self-proclaimed tough guy, only managed to blow a balloon about the size of a large fist. *snort* when they had to burst it it wasnt easy cos it was so small. Had to do a cheer but my group was kinda unprepared so we just improvised some temporary cheer before we could make a new one. ;D then we had to climb all the way up to the function rooms again to play some really weird blindfold game. we were divided into our groups and each group had a 'seer' the seer was the only one who could see and knew what the group was looking for. when the rest finally went in, there was so much noise!!! all the seers were offered 15 seconds at the mike whenever they wanted. later on, my group became famous for being the only one to say 'IDOWAN!' to the instructors when offered the mike. ;D so as there was such confusion, and we were all seperated, i kinda just wandered to the stage and tried to find Pikachu and ask what the **** we were looking for. found out it was spoons then wandered away to look for it. (pikachu later said i looked so blur wandering around aimlessly with three spoons, a big stack of bowls, and a stack of cups with me, lol.) found four altogether, out of twelve, yay. :) then was the tying rope thing. kinda boring so not gonna say much. then was lunch and we got assigned rooms! :D but the rooms were DAMN HIGH. like seven stories up leh. and no lifts! :< up the hill, which meant sunlight sunlight. and a steep slope we had to lug stuff up. We got dressed for paintball! :D. paintball was really fun, our entire group likes it sooo much. my aim sort of sucks though. haha. our MVP was Kitson cos he took down about nine people alone. in contrast, the rest of us people shot almost no one at all. :P. Roy was good too with three kills, but apparently the guns were really off the mark. The only thing i can say about myself is that i didnt get shot. XD. at the first around, our 'strategy' was shot to pieces when everyone just followed kitson and left the base undefended. (cos we thought he was saying 'follow' when he was telling us to hide.) It was the BEST one of the three 'experiences'! our group's decided we want to go play at the Discovery Centre already. Wesley's supposed to go check up on that, but so far he says he thinks its closed for some time or smth. After that was kinda not extremely interesting...yeah. rope thingy was fun. but only for awhile. Then, some of us gathered in mine, grae and yujia's room to play daidi. :) the wesley-roy team won so many times so we decided to play bluff instead, but by that time i wsa so sleepy i kept doing silly stuff. (like putting my cards face up) and obviously i lost. badly. :< justin kept telling pris that they'd surely win but it was not to be! the cheeryl-yujia team won out in the end. muuuu... went to sleep after that after hearing wesley, roy and alvin complain about their room being baking hot and them not having hot water for the umpteenth time.
Thursday Went for the rope challenge first, involved lots of strategy and communication (we learned not to follow kitson). and we finsihed it, yay. trekking was weird. there were steep slopes, we had to get up two and go down quite a few. on one of them pikachu went first and since the back ppl were saying the guide said it was correct and kept asking me to hurry up and go down (cos i was second, they made me the navigator but i got them lost a couple of times, haha) so i went down , there were these branch things to grab onto when going down cos it was like a slide, slippery and smooth (sand). and then as i grabbed a branch... this part splintered and drove straight into the base of my index finger. so on reflex, i let go, and well, lets just say i couldn't stop. and crashed. into someone. and then we both went hurtling into a bush. and scraped ourselves on the ground. *cough* (sorry abt that, pikachu.) Justin would only go down slopes if pikachu was there to catch him, he couldnt trust kitson. (pikachu just says 'come into my arms!' and justin screams 'i love you' as he runs down.) those people are damn funny. yeah. then it was dinner after that, yay. BBQ! performance after that, we did 'book to the head'. for details, theres a youtube video one or two posts down. after performances and everything, prizes were given out, and team B was the most 'on' group! XDXD. yayy. After that kitson got tau-pokd, it looked really lewd. imagine one big mass of wriggling people and you're squashed underneth. eww. went to cheeryl, jing wei and priscilla's room to play cards, justin was sick but came along to cos he couldnt sleep. after a long long time, me and yujia realized that we had the keys and no one was in our room to let grace in, so we ran back to find grace waiting for us on the steps. (sorry, grace) was really really sleepy at that point, but didnt get to sleep until awhile later. around half an hour to an hour later, jingwei, cheeryl and pris turned up at our rooms complaining that their room was infested with mosquitoes. they brought eu gene with them too cos his roommates were out getting taupoked and he didnt have the key. Our nextdoor neighbours justin and wesley crashed too cos they complained their room was an oven and ours was nice and cold, and roy had the key and was sleeping in someone else's room anyway. so there were about 9 of us in one room. sheer joy. justin was sick, so we suggested he, wesley and eugene share one of the beds, but somehow the sleeping places got all whacked and grace ended up sleeping on the table, eu gene and jing wei on the chairs, wesley, yujia and cheeryl on one bed (they complained cheeryl took up half the bed by herself), and me and pris were sharing the next bed and justin was half sleeping on our bed and half on a chair. i think he froze to death, and i kicked him a few times when i tried to stretch my feet.
Friday we didnt get to sleep very long cos the wake up call was at 6, and then everyone went back to their own rooms to pack and get ready for check out. breakfast was at 7, so after packing me and grace just fell asleep and let yujia watch tv on her own. The bus broke down halfway when it was bringing us to the mega mall, so i slept another half an hour while waiting for another bus. :) the mall place was huge, but the only bookstore there had very little english books, it was all malay. so in the end ended up following nisha around and buying stuff. bought stuffed toys for XXXX and XXX because they didnt really tell me what they wanted and it was either that or a lamp, which was rusty and which was in a shop where the salespeople could barely answer us whenever we asked them anything. wanted to go to the arcade but didnt go in the end. :< the donuts over there were nice, i love the glazed ones. ferry ride - slept. then reached singapore, yay. WHOOO.
SO I'M BACKK YAYYY.
back to school. joys.
i cant wait till this is over.
